Suction Devices

Mechanical Suction Devices are an effective and rapid method of removing vomit and other foreign matter from the upper airway.

Generally, there are 3 types of suction devices:

• hand powered units where the operator simply squeezes the trigger (Res-Q-Vac),
• oxygen driven systems which require a ready supply of oxygen (LSP Oxygen Powered Aspirator Unit) and
