firelogistics is excited to announce the launch of “The Cleever”

The Cleever is a tool used to store, transport and deploy your lay-flat hose into a coil. Unlike a hose pack or hose strap, the Cleever is made of stainless steel.

Deploying the Cleever is easy:

1. Hold the Cleever by the large carry handle
2. Position the hose load in a suitable area
3. Side the fastener toward the middle
4. Give the device a shake to encourage the hose to come free
5. You’re ready for water

Hose Stowage Benefits:

• The Cleever stores a coiled hose by securing a portion of the hose in the Cleever’s container. Each side of the pre-coiled hose is then strapped up onto the device which reduces trip hazards or snag points.
• The Cleever has reflective arrows that indicate the correct side up of the hose load. This is to mitigate the risk of a coiled hose being deployed upside down, making it inoperable.

The benefits of the Cleveland Hose Load

• Can stand up on its side and be held or lent against a wall
• Can be deployed in a platform cage and advanced from within
• Can be deployed then dragged fully in its coils
• Can charge on the spot

Laying & Coiling Lay Flat Hose:

The Cleever stores a full length (10m/200ft) of lay flat hose. This hose is designed to be deployed at the entry point to a fire. It is important that the coil is not advanced from the load while uncharged, this will result in twists that will violently untwist when water is flowing.
