The pumper is powered by a proven Honda 13hp, GX-390 air cooled engine
with excellent power to weight ratio, low noise level and easy starting.
Standard features include a automotive style air cleaner, an external oil
filter, manual recoil starting system and electric starter motor (battery
extra). The pump is a 2-stage design unequaled in performance and
reliability. All components are corrosion resistant and incorporate a
standard stainless steel shaft, anodized aluminum impellers, distributors
and housing. Intake is 2" NPSH and the discharge 1 1/2" NPSH.
Other threads are available with the use of adapters. The engine and pump
are coupled with a stainless steel release clamp via a speed increaser
drive. The belt/pully design requiers no maintenance or lubrication and
has proven very durable and quiet. The manual pump priming system is
designed for ease of operation and simplicity. The pump can be primed
before starting the engine, avoiding possible complications due to a lack
of water in the pump. The pumper is a high performance design. Pressures
up to 215 psi and flows up to 140 usgpm can be achieved. It has a low
weight of 117 lbs (53kg) in standard configuration and, depending on
choice of frames, places this unit in the portable class. There is a
choice of standard frames consisting of a hand carrying type or channel
base. The unit can be mounted to a truck or trailer. A 1 1/2" non
return check valve is available..
